Design is an
inclusive process.

Architecture is grounded into a specific place. Sustainable design is a bottom-up task, engaging public and private stakeholders, and their environment. Inclusive design processes enable resiliency.

Co-creating
Urban Futures.

Engaging communities, private and public stakeholders, institutions, corporations, and civic leaders is a crucial component of successful architectural interventions in cities. Developing strategies for healthy and equitable urban landscapes should be a co-creative task, designing with and not just for the residents of the urban ecosystem.

Engaged design needs to be an inclusive dialog, inviting a diverse and interdisciplinary team to the table.

A Seating Landscape.

In this design-build project, a group of 18 summer students led by Study Abroad Program Director Oswald Jenewein designed and built a seating landscape for the local youth center "SPACE" in Innsbruck's Reichenau.
